I had a flat screen CRT tv high for about 4-5 years. Sharp tv was great for what it was and that good things to say about this, but it was getting old, occupied too much space and I wanted a LCD tide. My girlfriend has a 37-inch LCD from Samsung and I must say I've never been too impressed by this if I wanted another brand. I had the Panasonic for under $ 500 that was absolutely brilliant and I am extremely satisfied. Firstly I must say the picture quality is better than Samsumg and it has great features. I only have basic cable, but I get some HD channels that look fantastic. I also like the fact that you can easily turn the TV to a computer giant screen hanging in a cable to your computer. I tend to look at the line of European football and to be able to see on the TV screen was something I was looking for in an LCD. The TV also has this cool feature where you can put in a memory stick digital camera and it will show all the pictures on the TV. Although it is not in itself a reason to buy it, it's a nice add-on when you want to check how the images look without having to download the first computer. Furthermore I find the menu of the tv rather easy, simple and very user friendly.
I am very happy with the purchase of a viewpoint quality and price and recommend this.
